Malaysia Electronic Visa Application System (MEVAS)
MEVAS was specifically developed for the Immigration Department of Malaysia for the purpose of processing the Malaysia Visa applications.
With the system integrated to the core system of Immigration Department, all the application are linked to the Government in real time.
The system was initially implemented as a Proof of Concept to process the applications at the High Commission of Malaysia in Singapore and successfully reduced the turn around time from 3 working days to 24 hours application turn around time.
